A collision that scared a 7 billion population

Something that at the beginning was almost impossible to believe; the collision of an meteorite  with our beautiful planet, to be more specific in Russia.  

The damages weren't something that big but nevertheless it made the whole planet shiver because of the fact that other space objects collided with the USA.

In past years this could sound like bombs being thrown between the Communist and the Capitalist world. But don´t be scared people. The cold war is over!
